Grammy Nominations

The Grammy Nominations were announced today. Kanye West's already massive ego will continue to inflate now that he has 10(!!!) nominations.

Green Day is nominated for album of the year for American Idiot, which means hell has frozen over.

The celebration of medocrity continues with nominations for the Los Lonely Boys, Hoobastank, Nickelback, Usher, the Killers(ok, yeah, they're not bad...but "Somebody Told Me" should not be in the best rock song category, because let's face it, the beat rocks but the lyrics are complete shit.)

However, to give the Grammy's credit, they did nominate Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, Jay-Z's "Black Album" (which was totally shut out of Album of the Year), Brian Wilson, Bill Clinton (best spoken word, ya'll), Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, and the Concert for George Harrison. Whew.
